The next thing to consider is band width, and whether you prefer a wider or more narrow band.
A narrow wedding band (typically between 2mm-6mm) often works better if you have a ring size smaller than a size 9. They are also generally less expensive than a wider wedding band of the same metal, and look less unwieldy on slimmer fingers, or if you have a slimmer build.
A wider wedding band (more than 6mm) may be more suitable for those with a ring size above a size 9, or for those with larger hands, or who are simply larger in size, period. While wedding bands increase in price proportionately to the band width, a wider band will likely stand out more and make more of a statement than a narrower one.
